Slings: traditional vs. hardback

The very first time I got fisted I was in a traditional, leather "net" sling... worked just fine. However, I was only entertaining in my rectum that day, never thought to go further in fact. These days, I always get fisted on a spanking bench; there are several reasons why I guess.

1. I can raise myself up easily so there's no pressure from my own body positon on the colon
2. I can move forward or backward depending on if I want more or less... and it's easy for the top to read
3. I can easily stand up with the fist or forearm still engaged if I want that different sensation

Recently, though, I made a hardback sling for a custom, four-poster bed. It's incredibly comfortable, has that nice swing, and lets you hang your legs up in stirrups. I'm anxious for my first "go" on it to see how it compares with a traditional sling. One thing for sure, my back won't be swayed into an inverted "C" shape; I hope that means that it'll be easier for my tops to get higher!

I've seen tons of pictures and been in dungeons where guys are getting plenty of depth in traditional slings though. I'd love to hear from you about your feelings on fisting positions, traditional vs. hardback slings, spanking benches, etc.
